The BD Diesel 4R100 transmission kit for 1999–2003 Ford 4WD upgrades internal strength and lubrication for heavy-duty use. It adds machined supports, additional lube circuits to planetary gears, steel planetaries, tightened clutch packs and an aluminum deep pan that increases oil capacity. Revised oil circuits and stronger internals are intended to improve shift quality and handle substantially more power and torque than stock.
