The BD Diesel ProForce enhanced-stall torque converter for 1994–2007 Dodge Cummins 47RH applications improves low-rpm response and towing behavior with an enhanced stall characteristic. BD's design uses torque-multiplying cast aluminum stators, a stamp-forged steel front cover, billet steel piston and hardened seal bore. Steel Torrington needle bearings replace plastic thrust washers and improved friction lining reduce heat. Tested to 1,000 lb-ft crank torque and intended for street/towing duty.
