The McLeod aluminum flywheel fits Ford 4.6/5.4L modular engines (1996–2004 4.6L noted) and accepts multiple clutch patterns while using a replaceable steel friction surface. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and supplied with a 1045 steel hardened ring gear, these aluminum flywheels are suited to higher-horsepower or boosted combinations that see rapid RPM changes and are offered for 6-bolt crank applications only.
