The McLeod aluminum flywheel is intended for high-rpm or forced-induction applications and is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum with a replaceable 1045 steel friction plate and hardened 1045 steel ring gear. Specifically sized for Ford flathead applications (1949–53) with an 11 in diameter, the flywheel is SFI-rated and built to suit higher horsepower combinations that require rapid RPM response and a lightweight rotating assembly.
