McLeod aluminum flywheels are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and include a replaceable steel friction insert and a 1045 hardened ring gear for durability. This special-order flywheel fits Chevrolet LS-family engines (1997–2013) with a 12" steel insert and adds +0.400" to the face; listed around 15 lb, it’s aimed at higher-horsepower or rapidly revving combinations such as forced-induction builds and is SFI-rated where applicable.
