McLeod aluminum flywheel for Chevy LS motors (1997 and up) is designed for higher-horsepower engines and rapid RPM applications, including forced-induction combinations. CNC-machined from billet aluminum, the flywheel includes a replaceable steel friction surface and a hardened 1045 steel ring gear. SFI rated, it’s intended to reduce rotating mass while providing a serviceable friction surface for demanding street or track use when matched to appropriate driveline components.
