McLeod steel flywheels are machined from billet alloy steel and are intended for street applications that favor easy stop‑light acceleration and durability. This flywheel fits Pontiac 1964–1985 engines covering 326–455 cubic inches for GTO/Tempest applications and features a 166‑tooth 1045 hardened steel ring gear. Steel flywheels are also recommended for off‑road and rock‑crawling use and are SFI-rated where applicable.
