The Exedy Lightweight Racing Flywheel for 2013–2016 Scion FR-S is a one-piece billet chromoly steel unit weighing approximately 12.7 lb, designed to lower rotational mass and improve engine response for light to moderately tuned racing and street cars. It combines low weight, low inertia and high thermal capacity, and integrates ring gear teeth to avoid separation issues found in some aluminum designs. SFI certification and forged steel construction make it suitable for autocross, rally and drag applications where reduced inertia is desired.
