Clutch Masters aluminum flywheel for the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt 2.0T SS is a CNC-machined, precision-balanced replacement built to reduce rotating mass and improve throttle response. Machined from 6061 aluminum or 1045 steel cores, aluminum units receive Type 3 hard anodizing and steel versions are black oxide coated. The flywheel features a replaceable steel friction insert, is zero-balanced, SFI 1.2 certified and pairs with OEM or aftermarket clutch kits to support quicker revving and reduced turbo lag.
