The Ford Racing one-piece aluminum driveshaft for 2011–2014 Mustang GT 5.0L (manual or automatic) replaces the heavier OEM steel shaft with a lighter assembly to reduce rotational mass. It uses a 6061-T6/RT62 seamless tube with a .114 in wall and includes high-strength universal joints, delivering significantly lower weight while retaining high strength. Note: the driveshaft notes off-road use only in the product details and is supplied as a one-piece aluminum assembly.
