The BMR weld-on Driveshaft Safety Loop for 2004–2006 Pontiac GTO welds to the factory floor support behind the transmission and is designed to contain a failed driveshaft, helping prevent it from tearing through the floor. The two-piece design allows installation without removing the driveshaft and fits diameters up to 3.5 inches. It’s intended for street and drag use and installs in about two hours.
