The UMI tubular k-member for 1998–2002 GM F-Body LS1 models is a direct-fit replacement that sheds roughly 25 lbs from the front of the car. Dual tube construction, boxed a-arm mounts and CNC-machined plates deliver strength while offering extra clearance for headers and turbo piping. Made from US steel and available powder coated, it improves launch balance and protects the oil pan with a lowered rear cross tube.
