The UMI tubular k-member for 1998–2002 GM F-Body LS1 applications is a direct bolt-in replacement that removes about 25 lbs of front-end weight. Its dual-tube construction, boxed a-arm mounts and lowered rear cross tube provide strength, oil-pan protection and added clearance for headers or turbo plumbing. Fabricated from US steel with CNC mounts and powder-coat options, it accepts factory motor mounts and aftermarket a-arms for a stronger, lighter front end.
