The UMI Performance torque arm relocation kit for 1982–1992 Camaro and Firebird moves the torque arm mounting off the transmission to protect the tailshaft and better handle launches. Each kit is built from DOM mild steel tubing with 0.188" mounting plates, includes a 0.250" machined torque arm mount and clam shell, and supports instant center adjustment. It fits both T5 manual and 700R4 automatic transmissions and works with most stock-style torque arms when using a one-piece bushing (#3004).
