The UMI torque arm relocation kit for 1998–2002 GM F-Body replaces the factory crossmember with a stronger unit that moves the torque arm mount off the transmission tailshaft to prevent damage during hard launches. The built-in torque arm mount works with stock-style torque arms. Constructed from rectangular mild steel tubing with 0.188" mounting plates and a machined 0.250" torque arm mount, the kit bolts into the factory holes. Note: requires a solid one-piece polyurethane bushing and will not work with two-piece factory bushings.
