The Soft Lok clutch from McLeod for Ford big-block 429/460 (1969–1978) is a drag-specific assembly not recommended for street driving. As an NHRA and IHRA record holder it provides low static pressure and soft engagement for lighter pedal feel and less tire spin at launch. The kit includes an adjustable pressure plate, sintered iron friction disc and billet aluminum flywheel, plus adjustable spring pressure and optional counterweights.
