The Clutch Masters FX100 clutch kit is a heavy-duty street clutch system for select older VW compact models, including 1979–1984 Rabbit 1.6L diesel and 1980–1984 Jetta 1.6L/1.7L applications. The FX100 uses the Power Plus I pressure plate with a steel-backed organic friction disc to deliver approximately 70% increased holding capacity for lightly modified street cars. It offers slightly higher pedal pressure than stock, smoother engagement, longer life, and is intended for setups with minor bolt-ons or up to 50hp from nitrous or non-forced induction upgrades.
