The Clutch Masters FX400 8-puck clutch kit for 1997–2003 BMW 540i (E39) 4.4L is an extreme-duty street and road/drag racing system built around a sprung ceramic puck disc and a heavy-duty pressure plate. It offers rapid engagement with reduced chatter and is intended for high-torque applications. This conversion kit requires the Clutch Masters 267mm flywheel and will not fit an OEM flywheel.
