The Clutch Masters FX350 conversion clutch for the 1999–2004 BMW M5 E39 5.0L uses a heavy‑duty Power Plus I pressure plate and Fiber‑Tough friction material to raise holding capacity about 110%. Intended for serious street use and occasional track duty, it tolerates cammed or moderately boosted engines but can be a bit more aggressive in engagement. This conversion requires a Clutch Masters 267mm flywheel and will not work with the OEM flywheel.
