The Clutch Masters FX400 system for 1999–2003 BMW M5 E39 5.0L is a race/street conversion using a heavy‑duty Power Plus I pressure plate and a sprung ceramic disc for extreme holding capacity—about 170% over stock. Available in 6- or 8-puck configurations, the sprung hub aids drivability. This conversion kit requires a Clutch Masters 267mm flywheel and will not work with the OEM flywheel.
