The Clutch Masters FX400 clutch kit for 2001–2005 BMW M3 3.2 (E46) 6-speed pairs a heavy-duty Power Plus I pressure plate with a sprung ceramic disc to deliver substantially increased holding capacity. The FX400 is offered in 6- or 8-puck configurations—6-puck being more aggressive, 8-puck less aggressive. The sprung hub provides moderate dampening for improved street manners; it requires a single-mass flywheel and will not work with dual-mass flywheels.
