The ACT HD/Race 4-pad clutch kit for 1988 Honda Civic is a heavy-duty competition-oriented clutch that pairs ACT's popular Heavy Duty pressure plate with a rigid 4-pad race disc. The pressure plate uses an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and extend service life through a four-stage heat-treating process. The 4-pad rigid race disc uses ceramic friction material with a chrome-moly heat-treated hub for strength; engagement is firmer for quicker shifts. Kit is backed by a one-year warranty.
