The Sinister Diesel coolant filtration kit for 2003–2007 Ford Powerstroke 6.0L uses a WIX round filter in a bypass arrangement to remove casting sand, metal shavings, rust, and deposits from coolant. The CNC-machined billet 6061 aluminum filter boss mounts to supplied bracket using factory holes, and the kit includes hoses, fittings, valve hardware and bracket. Initial filter change is recommended at 500 miles, then at 3,000-mile intervals.
