The DFC Geomet-coated drilled rotor for Mercedes-Benz SL550 (2013–2020), front, is a hi-carbon alloy rotor with drilled face and a Geomet corrosion-resistant finish. Engineered from premium G3000/G11H18 iron castings and using an OE vane configuration, it supports efficient heat dissipation. The rotor is precision mill-balanced, fine-turned to 16 RMS for pad break-in, and held to tight DTV and lateral runout limits.
