The Hawk Blue 9012 rear brake pads for Mazda RX-7 (1984–1991) and Mazda6 (2003–2005) use the Blue 9012 compound to raise on-road stopping capability. Hawk's HPS-style description notes a higher coefficient of friction, an expected 20–40% increase in stopping power versus many stock pads, improved resistance to fade, better pedal feel and reduced brake dust.
