EBC Redstuff rear brake pads for BMW M5 (1994–1999, E34) are a high-friction, low-dust ceramic compound designed for fast-road use. The synthetic-fiber formula enhanced with ceramic particles delivers strong initial bite and increased braking power as temperatures rise, while producing far less dust than semi-metallic pads. These pads may require extended bed-in—up to around 1,000 miles—and include EBC’s Brake-In surface coating. They offer nominal friction around 0.5 and meet ECE R90 safety regulation for many Red Ceramic pads.
