The EBC Redstuff front brake pads for 1986–1993 Mercedes-Benz 190/190E are a fast-road upgrade offering very low dust and strong stopping from cold. Redstuff uses a synthetic-fiber ceramic-enhanced compound that provides high initial bite, improved braking as temperatures rise, and reduced dust compared with many semi-metallic pads. These pads feature EBC Brake-In surface coating to speed bed-in, a nominal friction coefficient around 0.5, and are recommended for fast street and premium sedan use where low dust and strong deceleration are priorities.
