EBC Redstuff rear brake pads for 1966–1968 Volvo 140 1.8 employ a synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles to provide strong cold bite and improved stopping under repeated heavy braking. The formulation produces much less dust than semi-metallic pads and uses an EBC Brake-In coating to accelerate bed-in. Extended bed-in can be required—up to around 1000 miles—for best rotor contact.
