The AIRAID PowerAid throttle body spacer for 2002–2009 Chevy Trailblazer and GMC Envoy 4.2L applications (and select Saab 9-7X 2005–2008 models) uses a patented Helix Bore to spin the incoming air charge, boosting air velocity and improving atomization of the air/fuel mixture. That spinning airflow is designed to increase part-throttle torque and mid-range power. The spacer installs as a bolt-on upgrade with included mounting hardware.
