The AIRAID PowerAid throttle body spacer for 1999–2006 Chevy and GMC 4.8/5.3/6.0L applications uses a patented Helix Bore to spin the incoming air charge, increasing air velocity and improving atomization of the air/fuel mixture. That spinning airflow boosts off-idle torque from roughly 800 rpm up to about 3,000 rpm for stronger mid-range power. The spacer is a true bolt-on upgrade with included mounting hardware and requires only common hand tools.
