The Volant snorkel for 2007–2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4.0 V6 elevates intake air to reduce ingestion of dust and water when off-road. The snorkel bolts to the airbox and includes a hood seal that channels air from a roof-line snorkel, moving the intake to a cleaner, higher location. Its scoop features a mesh cover to block large debris, and the kit ships with riser duct, scoop lid, clamps, brackets and hardware for installation that requires some cutting.
