The Gates air intake hose for 1996–1998 BMW 328i 2.8L 6-cylinder connects the MAF to the throttle body in that application. As a replacement hose it restores the sealed air path between those components, supporting consistent airflow readings and throttle operation while making it easier to address leaks or deterioration in the original hose.
