The K&N cold air intake for 2004–2005 GM TopKick/Kodiak V8 6.6L diesel replaces the factory inlet with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube and a washable, reusable High-Flow oiled-cotton filter to deliver a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. The oversized conical filter can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving and the system includes a heat shield or airbox and typically installs in under 90 minutes. Some systems may be restricted in California; check CARB status.
