The K&N Typhoon short-ram intake for 2002–2006 Mitsubishi Lancer replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube and high-flow K&N filter to reduce airflow restriction and increase usable power and acceleration. The blue powder-coat tube accepts the factory MAF and crankcase vent hose; the oversized filter is serviceable and covered by K&N's million-mile limited warranty.
