K&N Typhoon short-ram intake for select Mazda Miata/MX-5 models replaces the factory intake and restrictive filter to improve airflow and deliver measurable power and throttle response. The mandrel-bent aluminum tube fits existing mounting points and accommodates the factory mass air sensor, air temperature sensor and crankcase vent hose. A black rubber-topped K&N high-flow filter is included and can provide service intervals up to 100,000 miles depending on conditions; check K&N for CARB status and specific vehicle fitment.
