The K&N cold air intake for Porsche Carrera (996) 1999–2005 uses a roto‑molded HDPE tube to increase intake volume and deliver a guaranteed rise in horsepower and torque. The system includes a washable, reusable High‑Flow oiled cotton filter with an oversized conical design that can allow up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving. A custom heat shield protects intake air from engine heat, and most installations complete in under 90 minutes. Check CARB status for California use.
