The AEM Performance cold air intake for 2016–2017 Chevrolet Malibu L4-1.5L replaces the restrictive factory air box with mandrel-bent aluminum tubing, an AEM Dryflow oil-free washable synthetic filter and a heat shield to reduce intake air temperature. The Dryflow filter is reusable and may be serviceable for up to 100,000 miles depending on conditions. AEM designed and dyno-tested the system to preserve factory emissions controls and offers a lifetime limited warranty.
